If you had to write a poem about your life RIGHT NOW, what would it be about? Explain your answer in at least 4 to 5 sentences.

 Prompt Response: It would be about stress and growth. it would talk about school and responsibilities. it would show how i am still learning who i am and it would show me pushing foward. Summary: School takes a lot of my energy and its challenges but i still keep going because i cant let it stop me from what i want to become in the future of my life. Reflection: Life is not always easy but the challenges help me grow and writing about it helps me understand myself more better than before.

When you are in a mood that you do not like, what are some strategies that you use to change your mood?

 Prompt Response: When im in  a mood i dont like to change my environment or mindset. I listen to music and talking to someone i trust helps me feel understood. Summary: I use music and communication to improve my mood when i dont feel like myself. Reflection: These help me regain my emotions and remind me that bad moods are temporary.

Write about something you’ve outgrown but still miss.

 Prompt Response: I've outgrown staying up late just to talk to my friends, but i still miss it. Summary: I no longer stay up late even though i miss the closeness it brought. Reflection: Outgrowing this habit helped me become more responsible.

Write about something that you heard that you wish you could unhear.

Prompt Response:  I was heard something hurtful that changed how i saw a situation and the person. Summary: the words affected how i felt long after they were said. Reflection:  this taught me that words are powerful and it made me be more careful to what i say to other people.

Reflect on a time when you or someone you know had to choose between fitting in and staying true to their identity; what was gained or lost in that experience?

 Prompt Response: Had to choose between fitting in and staying true to myself. I chose to be myself even if it meant standing out. Summary: Choosing authencity helped me stay true to myself and values. Reflection: Fitting in isn't worth losing your identity but it builds your confidence over time.

 Prompt Response: A time when I was so so tired that my body wouldn't keep up even though in my I head I wanted to keep moving, but I just had to stop because my body was tired.   Summary: My tiredness forced me to slow down and rethink how I do Reflection: This experience taught me that mental strength isn't always about pushing harder, but about knowing when to rest and recover.

Write about a time you didn’t feel like yourself.

 Prompt Response: A time I didn't feel like myself when I was stressed and very overwhelmed. I felt really tired and disconnected from things. Summary: Stress made me feel unlike myself. I wasn't eating like I was supposed to Reflection: I learned that I need to take care of my mental a little bit more better than what I have been doing

Describe a place where you feel the most at peace and explain why.

 Prompt Response: I feel most a peace in my room because it's quiet and comfortable, and I can just relax. Summary: My room is the place where I feel calm and safe. Reflection: Being in my room helps me clear my mind because it's so quiet.

Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

 Prompt Response: I had to rely on my friend to help me study for math because I didn't understand it. At first it felt kinda weird, but I was grateful because I ended up passing the quiz. Summary: I depended on someone else for help when I needed it. Reflection: It taught me that asking for help is okay and can make things easier.

In Wild, Cheryl Strayed writes about the difference between deciding to do something and actually committing to it: “There was the first, flip decision to do it, followed by the second, more serious decision to actually do it.” Reflect on a time in your own life when you made a quick or casual decision that later required a deeper commitment. Describe what changed between the first decision and the moment you realized you truly had to follow through. What fears, challenges, or responsibilities became real once the decision was no longer just an idea?

 Prompt Response: I decided to join a school sport. It was easy at first, but when practices started, I realized it was starting to become real. I had to work hard. Summary: Strayed explains that deciding to do something is different from committing to it. A choice becomes real when you follow through with it. Reflection: Mines connects because my decision felt easy at first, then became serious.

Write about a moment when you had to step out of your comfort zone.

  Prompt Response:  I stepped out my comfort zone when I ran track and did hurdles. It was hard and the practices pushed me. Summary: I was challenged physically and mentally when doing hurdles especially at track meets when I would fall. Reflection:  This taught me perseverance and confidence in what I can do.

Describe a hike, long walk, or outdoor experience you have had and explain what it was like physically and mentally. If you have never been on a hike, describe a time when you were outside your comfort zone or had to rely on yourself in a challenging situation. Explain what you learned from the experience.

  Prompt Response:  I walked to the very top of stone mountain. It was steep and very tiring, but I kept pushing myself to reach to the top. Summary: The hike was physically and mentally challenging for me because of the incline but the view made it a little better. Reflection:  This experience taught me to stay determined and push through any challenge that I take.

Prompt Response: Over the break, I stayed home and spent most of my time working. Summary: Instead of traveling, I used the break to just relax and make money. This made me productive and good use of my time. Reflection: I'm happy that I spent my break in a good way, even though I didn't go anywhere. My first goal is to finish practicing driving so I can get my license . This goal is important because after I graduate, I will need to drive to school and work if I'm working by that time. It will also be good for me to go places by myself; makes me learn independency a little more. To achieve this goal, I have to keep practicing my driving, parking and drive when I can so I can get better at it for when I take the driving test and I plan to have this by march of 2026. My second goal is to start practicing doing lashes.  This is important because I want to start my business before I graduate, so when I got to beauty school for it, ill just be perfecting my craft.   To achieve...
