 Prompt Response:  One important lesson that stood out to me in Multicultural Literature is that identity is complex and shaped by multiple factors like culture, family, history, and personal experiences. Many of the characters we read about struggled with balancing who they are with how society expects them to act. This showed me that identity isn’t fixed , it can change depending on different situations. Summary:  Throughout the course, the texts and discussions highlighted how culture plays a major role in shaping a person’s identity. The characters often faced challenges like stereotypes, discrimination, or pressure to fit into certain roles. These experiences revealed how difficult it can be to stay true to yourself. Reflection:  This lesson is meaningful to me because it connects to real-life experiences.
